"Hey, Boo."

Oh my god.

What a WEEK it has been!

"Heat Ray" Chatterbox Audio Theater

Saturday I joined David Hammons, Bob Arnold, and the crew at Chatterbox Audio Theater to record one of a series of short radio-dramas. I don't want to spoil too much for you, so I won't say anymore about this project, but I will be sure to post the recording as soon as it is available!

"Sammy's Place" Commercial Shoot

Monday I did an overnight shoot for a commercial at Sammy Hagar's Bar and Grill located in Southland Games and Racing. David Hammons was there as well and I saw several other familiar faces from the FedEx video shoot. I got to drink a mystery fizzy drink and laugh and be sassy and say the word "again," a couple dozen times. The camera crew and everyone were super awesome and I can't wait to see the finished product.

"Shakespeare's Greatest Hits" The Tennessee Shakespeare Company

The same day I did the commercial, I started my job as an Actor/Teaching-Artist Fellow with the TN Shakespeare Company. That first day is a little fuzzy due to sleep deprivation, but the rest of the week has been an exciting blurry whirlwind of knowledge and swords and super fun awesome times! Right now I'm in rehearsal for "Shakespeare's Greatest Hits"--a two person 45 minute show of the greatest scenes, lines, and sonnets created by William Shakespeare. My partner is Marquis Archeluta who traveled here all the way from Montana! We have been working on Henry V, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, Henry VI Part 1, Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, Midsummer Night's Dream, and Hamlet. Every day we've spent 8 hours rehearsing and diving into the text and learning stage combat; and it's exhausting and exhilarating and empowering and enlightening and my obsession with literary devices has never been nerdier.

Our first performances will be Monday, September 5th, 2016 at Shelby Farms Park from 2-3pm and 4-5pm.
